What’s in this edition of The Good Life preserving magazine?
Our The Good Life preserving magazines are full of helpful preserving advice, recipes and stories. The latest spring/summer edition discusses the benefits of British glass, looking at the history of preserving equipment, modern preserving equipment and running through sterilisation procedures.
We also speak to David and Jeanne Christie about running a preserving business from the island of Barra and investigate how important preserving was to people living in the harsh conditions of Victorian Britain.
In addition, have a feature on how you can use jars and bottles to enhance your wedding, with lots of ideas for those looking for wedding inspiration. There is also lots of information on seasonal produce and how you can use it, with plenty of recipes using fruits and vegetables from the spring and summer harvests.
We have also decided to print some of our customer letters for the first time in this edition and have some great ideas in our craft corner.
Finally, we have some information on new products at Wares of Knutsford, including our new luxury packaging range, some beautiful apothecary and sweet jars, and a competition to design a tag and label. We would love to see your ideas for tags and labels for bottles and jars and specific designs for wedding favours. We will put the winning design into production and the designer will receive a commission on every sale.
There is more information on our website, or feel free to give us a call. The closing date for competition entries is 31 July 2016.
