At Wares of Knutsford we have lots of lovely new products to introduce for the spring and summer seasons, among which is this cute set of milk bottles and straws in a matching wooden crate.
Using milk bottles for drinking from
We have noticed a growing trend for using milk bottles for drinking from. The growing popularity of vintage style probably accounts at least in part for the trend; however, milk bottles are also a very practical and attractive way to serve drinks, especially to children. Screw top lids mean unfinished drinks can be saved for later, while the narrow neck of the bottles helps to prevents flies and wasps getting to drinks when they are served outside on warm summer days. Simply add a straw and you have an old-school look that is also practical.
Set of four milk bottles for drinking from
At Wares of Knutsford we stock a variety of milk bottles in a number of sizes and with a choice of different lid finishes, which can be used for storage or for drinking from. These can be bought singly or in great value packs; however, we think this set of milk bottles and straws, which come in a wooden crate, is a really cute, attractive way to serve drinks inside or out. The set looks as good in storage on an open shelf as it does on a table.
The set includes four clear glass bottles in the traditional milk bottle shape in 350ml size. The white metal screw top is included for each bottle along with a black and white striped straw in sturdy plastic. Each bottle top has a hole in it to hold straws in place. The bottles sit in a white painted wooden crate printed with the logo ‘Old School Drinks Company’ for the perfect vintage effect. You can change the black and white straws for any other colour, of course, which you can find on the Wares of Knutsford website.
The set is a really pretty way to serve not only milk but also pretty much any drink this summer at picnics, barbecues, beach parties an any other outdoor events. The clear glass is also ideal for showing off colourful drinks such as milkshakes, smoothies and fruit juices, or iced teas and coffees.
